• Product Description
One of the key Single Malts within Ballantine’s is made in MiltonduffDistillery –known for its charming and
iconic water wheel. This distillery provides the Foundation in Ballantine’s Blends.
In the 15th century a priory stood close to where Miltonduff Distillery stands today. The Benedictine Monks
of that priory blessed the waters of The Black Burn river and used them to brew ales that were acclaimed as
the finest in Scotland. Those same waters are still used in the distillation process of Miltonduff Single Malt
today.
Every bottle of Miltonduff flows from the springs of The Black Burn, imbuing the whisky with the flavours of
its misty landscape.
